Teotihuacan The pyramid of the Sun is about as big as the Great Pyramid in Egypt. It was built onionskin-style, with layer upon layer building up to the present size. Some idiot 'restorers' 'accidentally' removed an entire outer layer. Just how you accidentally removed thousands of tones of stonework without somebody noticing, nobody ever explained?
