Jungle canopy at Yaxchilan The jungle is astonishing. It is alive - it's green, it's succulent, it's growing, it's crawling, flying, biting, hot and wet! We both had camel back water bags in our daypacks and they were a lifesaver - we walked around the site (very very slowly and sweatily) pretty much with them permanently in our mouth!
