Close-up of Koenigsspitze This is the mountain that dominates Solda seen from behind - it's the snowy peak in the far distance in the previous photo. It was taken by using the 10x magnification on a monocular clamped over the zoomed-in lens of my camera! Cool eh?! If you look very carefully just below the first shadow patch, you can see the tracks and a few climbers on their way to the 3993m summit. Nice day for it!
