| Driving back towards Los Angeles, we went through Lake Havasu City, which is a town constructed by one guy on an artificial lake. The locals all have speed boats and spent their afternoons revving their engines and showing off their girlfriend's bikinis! The other wierd thing about the place is that they have imported London Bridge (from the 1800's) and rebuilt it slab by slab. Jules got a real kick out of walking across it. This London Bridge is much nicer than the one they have in London these days. |
